Hi, my name is Dora Wilbur and I am an author.  I enjoy that role but my favorite thing is  talking about the goodness of God.  I especially like to encourage people in their walk of faith.  I want everyone to know they have a place to turn when life gets challenging.  Jesus said in John 10:10 “I came that they may have life and have it abundantly.”

In 2019, after 34 amazing years in the classroom, I retired from teaching.  Now I enjoy walking in the woods, riding in the sunshine, and hiking on a mountain trail.  My first book, a devotional called ‘Lessons from Amy‘, encouraged many people during a tough year in 2020.  In 2021 my children’s books, Benjamin and Bon Bon Explore Summer and Benjamin and Bon Bon Explore Winter were released! In 2022, Benjamin and Bon Bon Explore Spring came out.  It’s especially exciting when the new books arrive at my house! I’m really having fun visiting schools, daycare centers, and libraries with these fun -filled books!    Spending time with my family and friends, where laughter is a constant theme, is a continuous highlight in my life.

The lighter side about me:

I have a weakness for Hershey’s chocolate and especially Heath candy bars.  My nieces and nephews bring me complete joy and we have many adventures together.  In my house we set up a tent, play Hide and Seek, and hunt down imaginary lions.  Life is good all the time.
